Q. What is Sex & The Gospel?
A. Sex & The Gospel is a two-day, seven-session conference that provides an in-depth teaching on how God wants us to live in the area of sex and relationships. The conference is designed to communicate the proper Biblical view of sex and to talk about sex from the Manufacturer’s Manual. Ultimately, the conference sounds the alarm that sex is created by God and is purpose driven, not just pleasure driven.
Q. Why is Sex & The Gospel coming to Central Texas?
A. Sex & The Gospel – Central Texas is being hosted by Unity Baptist Church of Copperas Cove, TX . Sex & The Gospel Conferences praises God for a Church embedded in the community that recognizes and address a need for both the church and community to dive into the scriptures and learn the Biblical View of Sex.
Q. What is the total cost of Sex & the Gospel Conference – Central Texas ?
A. The cost of the conference per person is as follows:

Conference fees include admittance into six general sessions and one breakout session.
Q. What does the conference fee include?
A. Sex & The Gospel Conference fees include admittance into six general sessions and one breakout session. Each registrant will also receive a Sex & The Gospel Conference Kit, which includes a “Little Black Book,” a specialty pen and conference t-shirt. The “Little Black Book” is ideal for conference note taking and provides the Biblical basis for each session as well as a scriptural reference guide for various topics such as pornography, masturbation and guilt / forgiveness of sexual sin.
Q. Why is the “Little Black Book” important?
Conference attendees need their own “Little Black Book” so that they will be able to take ample notes to refer back to when faced with challenges; sharing the content with children, boyfriends/girlfriends, spouses and friends. As with any “Little Black Book,” the intent is for attendees to be able to journal what God reveals to them about the Biblical view of Sex through His Word, circumstances and prayer.

Q. Do I need to dress up?
A. No, the attire for the conference is casual.
Q. At what age can I attend?
A. Attendees to this conference must be at least 13 years old. If youth are attending, chaperones must accompany them adhering to a 1:7 ratio.
Q. What if I’m married, should I attend?
A. . Yes, Sex & The Gospel is not a purity conference nor is it a conference for singles. Today 50% of Christian marriages result in divorce, so we recognize that marriage is simply not the answer if we are not submitted and transformed in the image of Jesus Christ.
Q. Is childcare provided?
A. Yes, childcare will be provided for children ages 3 – 11. There will be a $7 childcare charge per day, per child. Parents and guardians are responsible for providing lunch for each child in childcare.
Q. How do I pay for childcare?
A. While registering online for the conference, be sure to add the childcare to your basket before check-out.
Q. Are there lodging accommodations associated with the conference?
A. Conference guests are invited to take advantage of a discounted hotel rate while attending the conference in Copperas Cove. For reservations, please contact Comfort Suites (1816 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., Copperas Cove, TX 76522) directly and ask for the special “Sex & The Gospel” group rate of $69.99 per night, plus tax. For this special group rate all rooms must be booked by July 23rd.
Q. If I lose something during the conference, how can I find it?
A. Please notify the information table at the conference site of any lost items during the weekend.
Q. Is lunch provided?
A. Saturday’s lunch is not included in the conference fee. However, boxed lunches from Jason’s Deli are available for purchase during online registration.
Q. In the event I need to cancel, will refunds be available?
A. Cancellation & Transfer Policy: There will be no refunds for this event; however we encourage you to take advantage of the ministry opportunity to transfer your individual registration to another person. All transfers must be requested 7 or more days before the event. A one-time transfer per customer is allowed.
Q. Will there be onsite registration?
A. Yes, attendees can register on-site Friday, August 14th from 6pm to 7pm. Registration will also be available Saturday, August 15th from 8:15am to 9am. The price for Regular Registration is $45.
Q. Is there a group rate?
A. Yes, groups of +6 attendees can register at $30 per person before July 15th. After 15th, group rates will be $45. Download and complete the Group Registration form
