Ronique Wilson is the leader of the Wise Women Project (women’s ministry) at Crossover Bible Fellowship. Ronique’s heart desire is to see women enlightened to what the Word of God has to say to their lives, encouraged through Godly relationships with other women, and equipped to fully become whom God has called them to be. She has traveled nationwide teaching women and teen girls on issues including sex, dating, marriage, family, dress, spiritual maturity and managing family life. She is a speaker at Lifeway Conferences for Women’s and Marriage Events. A key teaching topic that Ronique is passionate about addressing among Christian women is eliminating the female ideology of “I don’t do women” and building a renewed theology of sisterly relationships.
Ronique holds a doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of Houston and is a licensed psychologist. As a part of her doctoral studies, she wrote a dissertation titled “The Association between Parent Sexual Communication, Quality of Relationship, and Adolescent Religiosity on Female Sexual Debut.” Her research examined how family and religious beliefs influence the sexual decision making and behaviors of young women. She has also studied at the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas. She serves in ministry alongside her husband, Blake, who is the Lead Pastor of Crossover Bible Fellowship. They have been married for over 20 years and are parents of a daughter and a son.
